Windscreen Replacement

At Automotive Glass Works, we always prioritize repair over replacement. However, if the crack in your vehicle’s windscreen is too severe or the glass is already broken, we will provide replacement as quickly and efficiently as possible, the entire replacement process takes about 2 hours to 3 hours.

Windscreen is a crucial safety feature for every car owner, and we maintain a high standard of workmanship in all our replacement and repair services. For cracks that cannot be repaired, you have the option to claim insurance for your windscreen or choose to cover the repair costs personally.

Situation That You Should Repair First

Windscreen Replacement Procedure

0 1

Assessment and Removal

Our specialist will assess your vehicle for any pre-existing damage. Using our windscreen removal kits, we carefully cut the seals and sealant holding the windscreen in place for clean removal.

02

Cleaning and Preparation

Aktivator is applied to clean the vehicle’s framework before allowing it to dry. A primer is then applied to prevent corrosion and ensure a strong bond between the sealant and the glass.

03

Windscreen Fitting

The new windscreen is carefully fitted onto the vehicle, and any original fittings that were removed are reinstalled.

04

Sealant Setting

The sealant needs at least 15 minutes to set before the vehicle can be driven. The entire replacement process takes about 2 hours to 3 hours.
